Frisky Whiskers

I'm Chrissie. I'm 20 years old, and I'm a Senior at my University. I'm also a dinosaur. Flannel, cats, umbrellas, cuteness, Japan, and humor are a few of my favorite things.

365 Films Challenge: The Cat’s Return

4/365: The Cat Returns (猫の恩返し Neko no Ongaeshi, lit. The Cat’s Repayment)

Omg omg omg I’m not even finished with the movie yet and I can already tell you it’s one of the most adorable things I’ve ever seen. I love literally everything about it so far; the plot, the characters, the voice acting, the animation, everything. It’s just so cute!

Hnggg why is the Cat Bureau not real?! :( :( *all the sobs*

Even the behind the scenes footage is wonderful. <3

365 Films Challenge: Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind

3/365: Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984)

I pretty much love anything Hayao Miyazaki touches, so naturally I adored this movie. I’m really glad I own it now. :) The story is amazing and the animation is beautiful.

365 Films Challenge: Gummo

2/365: Gummo (1997)

This is by far one of the strangest movies I’ve ever seen.

Don’t watch if you love cats. :( :( There’s a lot of abuse and dead cats and… just don’t do it. I do really like the cinematography… but not really my kind of movie.

365 Films Challenge: American Psycho

1/365: American Psycho (2000)

Interesting movie… I guess I’ll write more about it when I’m back from lunch, but… my first impression is that I liked it. I think my favorite thing about this movie was the relationship that Patrick and Jean had… I also liked the progression of his insanity.

I’m bad at writing my thoughts about movies… part of the reason why I’m doing this challenge. Haha.
